The Nigerian entertainment industry is in mourning as news of the passing of veteran actor Musiliu Ajikanle, fondly known as “Baba Ajikanle,” spreads like wildfire.
The actor died shortly after Pastor Agbala Gabriel raise fund for him after battling with stroke for seven years.
The sad news was announced by one of his colleague, Saliu Gbolagade on his Instagram page.
He shared photo of the late actor with the caption, “Ina Lilah Waina Allah Rajiun God gave each of us the gift of life, and God gifted us with eternal life Rest well my dear friend Musiliu Ajikanl Your footsteps can never be filled, nor your love ever forgotten May the blessings of a good life lived follow you into heaven.”
In a heartfelt post, Sola Kosoko took the comment section of Saliu Gbolagade to express her sorrow at his passing.
She wrote, ” OMG. This is really sad. May His soul rest in peace 🙏”
Mr Protable, another associate of the late actor, also took to social media to express his condolences. He wrote ” Alahuakbar😭😭😭”
Actress Olayinka Solomon also took the comment section of Saliu Gbolagade to express her condolences. She wrote, ” Haaaaaaaaaa innalillahi wainna ilaihi rojiun
